Created in collaboration with Emma Wibault, this project transformed a former chalet kitchen into a welcoming and functional children's bedroom. The goal was to incorporate a master double bed as well as two single beds for guests. We cleverly made use of the existing pipes by visually integrating them to the structure of the ladder leading to the bunk bed. The lower bed, which folds away, reveals a large toy chest, while niches and a display case offer dedicated storage spaces for games and models. For lighting, we opted for great modularity by installing pendant lights on the shelves, easily adapting to different living and play scenarios. Regarding materials, we chose larch paneling, paint and MDF. Finally, the bathroom was equipped tiles in shades of blue to ensure visual unity with the rest of the room.
