This project, carried out for TEMA Architects, involves the refurbishment of the reception area and swimming pool area at the Cristal d’Argentière residence. Our approach combines contemporary lines, robust materials and natural colours, drawing inspiration from historic spa architecture. A custom-designed stretched fabric canopy was created to structure the space and form a striking architectural feature. Naturally lit during the day and highlighted by evening lighting, it becomes a true visual landmark and enhances the experience of the space. The project also included the selection of furniture, the design of bespoke fittings and the upgrading of the lighting. Hand-drawn sketches were prioritised from the initial concept phase onwards to offer residents a more sensitive and personalised approach, emphasising a human dimension at the heart of the design.
