Hand-drawn sketch
This interior renovation project for a chalet designed by Henri-Jacques Le Même aimed to preserve the strong identity of the space as much as possible, both through its black, white and green mosaic floor and its existing furniture, which was retained. The idea was
to draw inspiration from the geometric forms so dear to the architect, reinterpreting them in the fireplace, the wall lights, the headboards… The bedrooms, in particular, each have their own distinct identity: one features a headboard inspired by crenellated façades, whilst
the other boasts a highly geometric design incorporating a fabric insert. The project makes use of painted MDF to create textural effects, whilst incorporating colours emblematic of the mountains (red, green, white…). Hand-drawn designs were favoured in order to retain a great deal of freedom in the creation of shapes.
